A 31 year old repentant boko haram tterrorist claims he was amputated by his colleagues to whom he revealed his intention to surrender to federal troops.
The man who simply identified himself as Mohammed abubakar told journalists in Maiduguri that he joined the militant group late 2014. He was brought before journalists for questioning during a live press conference convened by the theater commander of the operations lafiya dole,major general lucky irabor. Abubakar claims that he was forcefully recruited alongside his childhood friend at the gamborn ngala axis of borno state in the wake of the insurgency operations in that area. He tried to talk to his childhood friend about surrendering, but who in turn leaked his plans to the others and on the day he planned to leave his right hand and left leg got amputated as punishment and was left to die. The former Chelsea and England mid fielder, frank lampard has retired from professional football after 21 years in the game.

The 38 years old,who spent 2016 with new York city in major league soccer in the U.S. announced his dream on social media on Thursday.
He made over 600 appearances for Chelsea and won 106 caps for the three lions.He scored more than 300 career goals with 211 of them for Chelsea during a 13 year spell that saw him become the club's record scorer.
According to his retirement statement,he said
"When I have received a number of exciting offers to continue playing at 38,i feel now is the time to begin a new chapter in my life"
He shared his gratitude to the footbal association and is looking forward to pursuing the off-field opportunities.

BOOM!!!! South Africans Complain of big brother Naija

There is a controversy that seems to be following the current big brother Nigeria reality show as some south africans are allegedly complaining that the show constitutes a nuisance to them.

According to channel24 a south african TV station ,some residents and resturant owners at linden in cape town are said to be disturbed by the big brother naiha contestants living in 4th avenue close,next to the productions camera house. The noise complaint was confirmed by ward councilor Nicole van dyk and she said the house complaint wasn't as many as in the past. In response to the media inquiry about the unfortunate noise complaint, Mnet says it is aware of the recent noise problem and that they are working on it. But still some south Africans would prefer it to be moved to Lagos.


A Nigerian soldier,Egbechi oze has been sentenced to jail by an army general court martial sitting in Maiduguri, borno state after he fled his duty post.
The soldier was among those that were recorded as missing after book haram terrorists attacked a military base in Gwoza.
The court said that in spite of the fact that oze had abandoned his duty post for almost a year,he still continued to enjoy his benefits.

So he was charged for not accounting for his rifle and cache of ammunition he signed to be in his possession during the attack on Guoza but was acquited of the charges. He was sentenced to 14 months in prison and the court reiterated that he stands a chance of dismissal and refusal to be readmitted into the army for his court martial.
