13yrs old boy commits suicide in Benue State

A 13 year old Jss2 student, Aounduver Terunm, has been said to have committed suicide in Makurdi. He was a student of Lady Celina Academy, hung himself inside his parents chicken pen located in their private residence. Mother of the deceased, Mrs. Veronica Terunm, said she was still in shock and could not state what led her son to abominable act. She said he was just a small boy, I advised him on Sunday afternoon on the need for him to be a good boy in the family and few hours later I found him dead. He went to play football about 7pm we started looking for him when his mates had all gone home, after searching the neighbourhood my instinct directed me to the pen where I found him hanging lifeless. He was huge with a piece of rag which obviously couldn't have carried his body weight and his legs were on the ground that has left us even more confused. The police public officer, Assistant Superintendent, Moses Yamu said the matter is being investigated on.
